Persistence is one word that best describes the previous books by UFO investigators Thomas J. Carey and Donald R. Schmitt, authors of WITNESS TO ROSWELL and INSIDE THE REAL AREA 51. Persistence is also a watchword in their book THE CHILDREN OF ROSWELL.
“We now know that the American government stooped to the lowest level of humanity by going so far as to issue death threats to child witnesses. This should inform the reader of two things; there was a big secret to be kept…and the secret keepers were willing to go to any lengths to keep it.”
Ben Hensey, Sci-Fi Fact or Fakes, Paranormal Files, foreword.
America was besieged by reports of strange crescent-shaped objects, particularly in the West, and especially around the 509th Atomic Bomb Wing of Roswell, Mexico in the summer of 1947. a head of Counter Intelligence Corps was sent (and later denied what he found). The Army base closed-down for one week under high security, and any visitors refused. A major sense of hidden panic prevailed Roswell overall.

THE CHILDREN OF ROSWELL: A Seven-Decade Legacy of Fear, Intimation, and Cover-ups, Thomas J, Carey and Donald R. Schmitt, The Career Press, Inc., 12 Parish Drive, Wayne, New Jersey 07470, www.careerpress.com, 2016, 255 pages, $16.99.
Conventionally downed balloons were discovered and often recovered on Mack Brazel’s tour on the ranch he worked, such as the Mogul balloon train found on June 14, 1947, described as “rubber strips, tin foil, a rather tough paper and sticks.” What foreman W.W Mack Brazel discovered on J.B. Foster’s ranch on July 3, 1947 was “quite different.”
The military arrived in short-order and discovered remains of a crashed vehicle that also had dispersed debris for almost a mile from a mid-air explosion into a “fan-shaped” pattern.
Intelligence officer, Jesse Marcel, did a hasty “stop-off” at his home to show his wife and son the strange parts of debris. Following, also came a discovered object 40-miles to the North: the remains of a small ship with additional bodies.
ROSWELL MILITARY AREA BLOCKADE
All areas were cordoned off, road-blocks, and a severe security-blanket began to cover the Roswell area, all farms, all media, the Air Base was shut down for all purposes for one week, and a drastic and penetrating search for any and all artifacts of the crash that citizens may have taken.
The crash 40-miles north of Roswell needed more equipment, such as a flatbed, and it was declared a matter of clandestinely deep National Security. It included engineers and ambulance trucks. It was a strategic project.
Mechanical engineers examined some of the wreckage back at Hanger P-3, even pounded the material with a 16-pound sledge hammer with no effect.
A scapegoat event was created at Fort Worth were, along with “neoprene rubber, wooden sticks, blank masking tape, string, and one-sided reflective foil,” while the real material was sent to Ohio. “The FBI’s Dallas office confirmed that.” (p. 37) All tell-tale equipment had been ‘cleared out’ by dawn and the “weather balloon” headline had raced across the media.
WHITE HOUSE INVOLVED
The White House had become a war room connected with the Departments of the Army Air Force chief, the Secretary of War, the head of the Armed Forces Special Weapons Project, the Chair of the Joint Chiefs, as well as the President.
Mack Brazel began “retractions” of the incident on July 9th. The military was the easiest to censor as it was a dictatorship, but non-military citizens had Constitutional Rights. Fool-proof evidence as “hardware” had to also be “dealt with and no time to loose”: intimation of public citizens also began as the military conducted cover-up operations and collect the “near-indestructible, paper thin material that has perfect memory.”
THE DEBUNKING PROGRAM
The Army’s new policy was to dismiss all flying disk sightings or UFOs: a full-scale ‘scourged-earth policy’ ensued.
On September 23, 1947, Lieutenant General Nathan F. Twining signed a secret memorandum through the Pentagon to Brigadier General George Schulgen of the Air Intelligence requiring the Division to consider “the phenomenon was real.”
Their investigative “web” (later called the Military-Industrial-Complex) included many sources such as Air Force T-2, Bureau of Standards, General Electric, Rand Corporation, Hughes Air Craft and the Battelle National Laboratories.
Since 1947, agents of governments were often monsters that hid in closets to guard truisms that they wanted to control.
Witnesses Mac Brazel and Timothy “Dee” Proctor were also threatened that if they told what they saw that Dee Proctor would never see his family again. Personnel of radio station KGFL, Walt Whitmore, Jr., Jud Roberts, Frank Joyce likewise received threats that would eventually generate their silence.
Joseph Montoya, Lieutenant Governor of New Mexico, was called to Hanger P-3, and incidentally saw the “little bodies with big heads.” In a panic, Pete and Ruben Anaya came and got Montoya. Because he could speak Spanish, Sheriff Wilcox delivered the “death threat” to Montoya. Wilcox never ran for the office of Sheriff again (p. 64).
Author Antony Bragalia interviewed the daughter of Hunter G. Penn who had taken “a deadly serious assignment back in the summer of 1947” to “help manage civilian-military affairs after the crash…(an) information black-out.” Penn told his foster daughter, Michelle Penn, that he was authorized to use physical force and weapons to obtain their silence. “He tried to ‘heart-attack’ people,” Michelle said.
Barbara Duggar, George and Inez Wilcox, Phyllis McGuire, all had been threatened for their direct observations or some knowledge of the 1947 crash.
Frankie Dwyer Rowe was a 12-year-old daughter of a crew chief of the Roswell Fire Department and had witnessed Robert Scrogging unveiling a mysterious piece of foil that couldn’t be destroyed and “flowed like water.” When the military learned what she had witnessed they came to visit her with such people as Arthur Philbin of the 390th Air Service Squadron (ASS) threatening her: “If you say anything, not only will you be killed, but we will come back for your family. There’s big desert out there, no one will ever find you.”
Roswell Fire Station crewmen, Dan Dwyer and Lee Reeves, arrived earlier at a crash site to observe “an egg-shaped vessel of some sort,” small bodies and one still living.
The full-weight and consequence of the ‘family’ of UFO witnesses, both Dan Dwyer and Ken Letcher, had married into Roswell paranoia, especially when “telephone wire-tapping” was discovered in 1997 (pp. 91-95).
UFO FRAGMENTS TRANSPORTED
Captain Oliver W. “Pappy” Henderson and Dr. John Kromschroeder had knowledge of the transport of the fragments and bodies. Not surprisingly, “someone from Washington” came to retrieve the material “Pappy” had and reminded him of his security oath.
Guarding his involvement with the crash and Hanger P-3, Provost Marshal at RAAF Major Edwin Easley kept his promise to President Truman in 1947 that he would “never to speak about the incident again.”
CRATES TO FORT WORTH
Major Edgar R. Skelly ordered a special crew a road a Silverplate B-29 Bomber Straight Flush to fly a crate containing alien bodies to Forth Worth on July 9, 1947. He headed a nine-man crew to escort a heavily-guarded crate loaded at Bomb Pit Number 1. They were told “to keep their mouths shut throughout their assignment.” This Skelly did, despite researcher prodding, until his death in 2002.
Both, Jesse Marcel, Sr., his son Jesse Marcel, Jr., who witnessed the original crashed parts, were harassed by mysterious phone calls and threats until the day of their deaths. Senior Jesse Marcel believed he was under a death threat and had a meeting with a mysterious “Dick D’Amato” which certainly didn’t lesson that belief. D’Amato said the truth was buried deep under Black budgets and witnesses that were heavily watched.
The RAAF base hospital administrative executive secretary was a Miriam ‘Andrea’ Bush who allegedly had observed alien bodies on July 9, 1947. It was an event that deeply haunted her until her bizarre death in December 1989 in a Fremont, California motel.
One of the biggest threats to the military was the plights of “souvenir collectors” of the crash. Other nearly lost accounts of witnesses were in fear of coming forward. Sydney “Jack” Wright, Dan Richards, Trinidad Chavez, Ralph A. Multer, Charles Austin Wood, Frank Vega, James Wood, Sally Tadolini, Randy Lovelace, June Crain, Walter Haut, Tom Brookshier, were among these.
“To a journalist, it’s always about what happened and why,” said broadcast journalist Cheryll Jones. “This book underscores the bigger issue that the UFO/ET phenomenon is truly a significant part of a bigger picture of lies, deception, and deceit prevalent in our world today. People brave enough to challenge that are a vital part of the journalist’s quest for answers in trying to figure that out. This takes us a big step further in that direction.” (p. 21)

Evidence is always available to research before you deny whether or not something is real, faked or a hoax.
It’s well known that if you mention the word ‘UFO’, you’re going to receive a lot of unfavorable looks, but plenty of evidence exists. The subject is a real phenomena.
There is an influential amount of evidence, especially in the world of technology where everything you want to know is at the tips of your fingers. Find your legitimate sources and drill-down. Search court house records, police reports, government reports, military reports and find well-founded researchers. On top, there are scientists, physicists, doctors, and most of all, astronauts reporting on the affair continually.
Let’s take a small peak into actual (and very possible) evidence:
The anomaly began in 4,500 BC, with the Sumerian Tablets. The Tablets were written by the earliest civilization located in Southern Mesopotamia, which is now Iraq. According to the Sumerians, the Akkadians and Babylonian’s, there were four deities that the Sumerian’s termed as the Anunnaki, which translates to ‘those who came down from the heavens’ and are described in depth as not human. Many scriptures from the Tablets state that these deities flew in the skies with their winged flying machines between Nibiru and Earth. Their winged crafts are portrayed on relics that still remain all over Iraq and in Egypt. The Egyptian’s called them The Guardian Watchers. Is this evidence of space visitation to earth?
Someone lacking knowledge of the Sumerian Tablets could easily brush off the Tablets as being myth, but the Sumerian Tablets are in reality the first Bible to be written. The Christian Bible is more or less excerpts from the Tablets, written thousands of years later, devoid the shocking values. There are thousands of tablets which have been bought and are displayed at greater Museums around the world.
As well, many used to say that Nibiru didn’t exist, but scientists Konstantin Batygin and Mike Brown of the California Institute of Technology in Pasadena discovered this Ninth planet in 2016, with its strange elliptical orbit, just as it’s written in the ancient passages.
In 74 BC, the Roman historian, Plutarch, wrote in his journal titled Lucullus: But presently, as they were on the point of joining battle, with no apparent change of weather, but all on a sudden, the sky burst asunder, and a huge, flame-like body was seen to fall between the two armies. In shape, it was most like a wine-jar, and in colour, like molten silver. Both sides were astonished at the sight, and separated. This marvel, as they say, occurred in Phrygia, at a place called Otryae. Was this evidence of a battle in the air?
The first-ever American documented sighting happened in Hull, England, in 1801. The event was captured in the newspaper, The Northampton Mercury. Multiple witnesses described it as a moon-like orb that appeared over the city of Hull, that glowed with a brilliant silver and blue color. Within minutes it formed itself into seven white globes, all illuminating the sky before disappearing.
MOUNT WASHINGTON EXPEDITION
The earliest photo was taken in 1870, from the summit of Mount Washington, New Hampshire, while Amos Clough and Howard Kimball were on a meteorological expedition. It looks like a long cigar floating among the clouds. There’s a copy of the original photo in the New York Public Library.
THE TULLI PAPYRUS PAPERS
There’s also the Tulli Papyrus papers. The written document belonged to Alberto Tulli, director of the Vatican’s Egyptian Museum. Tulli and his brother, a Vatican priest, visited Cairo in 1934, and made a copy of the original translation. Could this be more evidence? It described an event witnessed by Pharoah Thutmose III: In the year 22, in the third month of winter, in the sixth hour of the day, the scribes of the House of Life noticed a circle of fire that was coming from the sky. From the mouth it emitted a silver breath. It had no head. Its body was one rod long and one rod wide. It had no voice. More disks kept appearing, then eventually the whole group of them vanished to the South sky.
Kenneth Arnold was an experienced aviator with more than 9,000 hours of flying time. On June 24th of 1947, he was flying from Chehalis to Yakima, cruising at an altitude of 9,200 feet when he was startled by something bright reflecting off his plane. When he looked towards the light, he saw nine saucer-like crafts splicing through the air in formation. After his report, others recounted their sightings as being evidence he was telling the truth. The following are Kenneth Arnold’s own words:
The following story of what I observed over the Cascade Mountains, as impossible as it may seem, is positively true. I never asked nor wanted any notoriety for just accidentally being in the right spot at the right time to observe what I did. I reported something that I know any pilot would have reported.
On June 24th, Tuesday, 1947, I had finished my work for the Central Air Service at Chehalis, Washington, and at about two o’clock I took off from Chehalis, Washington, airport with the intention of going to Yakima, Wash. My trip was delayed for an hour to search for a large marine transport that supposedly went down near or around the southwest side of Mt. Rainier in the state of Washington and to date has never been found.
Unable to see anything that looked like the lost ship, I made a 360 degree turn to the right and above the little city of Mineral, starting again toward Mt. Rainier. I climbed back up to an altitude of approximately 9,200 feet. The air was so smooth that day that it was a real pleasure flying and, as most pilots do when the air is smooth and they are flying at a higher altitude, I trimmed out my airplane in the direction of Yakima, Washington, which was almost directly east of my position and simply sat in my plane observing the sky and the terrain.
The sky and air was clear as crystal. I hadn’t flown more than two or three minutes on my course when a bright flash reflected on my airplane. It startled me as I thought I was too close to some other aircraft. I looked every place in the sky and couldn’t find where the reflection had come from until I looked to the left and the north of Mt. Rainier where I observed a chain of nine peculiar looking aircraft without tails flying from north to south at approximately 9,500 foot elevation and going, seemingly, in a definite direction of about 170 degrees.
The more I observed these objects the more upset I became, as I am accustomed and familiar with most all objects flying whether I am close to the ground or at higher altitudes. I observed the chain of these objects passing another high snow-covered ridge in between Mt. Rainier and Mt. Adams and as, the first one was passing the south crest of this ridge the last object was entering the northern crest of the ridge. As I was flying in the direction of this particular ridge, I measured it and found it to be approximately five miles so I could safely assume that the chain of these saucer-like objects were at least five miles long. I could quite accurately determine their pathway due to the fact that there were several high peaks that were a little this side of them as well as higher peaks on the other side of their pathway.
A number of news men and experts suggested that I might have been seeing reflections or even a mirage. This I know to be absolutely false, as I observed these objects not only through the glass of my airplane but turned my airplane sideways where I could open my window and observe them with a completely unobstructed view. (Without sun glasses) Even though two minutes seems like a very short time to one on the ground, in the air in two minutes time a pilot can observe a great many things and anything within his sight of vision probably as many as fifty or sixty times.
I look at this whole ordeal as not something funny as some people have made it out to be. To me it is mighty serious and since I evidently did observe something that at least Mr. John Doe on the street corner or Pete Andrews on the ranch has never heard about, is no reason that it does not exist. I have received lots of requests from people who told me to make a lot of wild guesses. I have based what I have written here in this article on positive facts and as far as guessing what it was I observed, it is just as much a mystery to me as it is to the rest of the world.
My pilot’s license is 333487. I fly a Callair airplane; it is a three-place single engine land ship that is designed and manufactured at Afton, Wyoming as an extremely high performance, high altitude airplane that was made for mountain work. The national certificate of my plane is 33355 —– /s/ Kenneth Arnold
As Kenneth’s story leaked out into the public other people stepped forward to say they too, had seen the objects. The most reliable reports were from a flight crew with United Airlines, which claimed seeing nine disk-like objects over Idaho. It seems the evidence is apparent, here.
THE ROSWELL INCIDENT
The most notorious event happened in 1947. Early July, 1947, Rancher Mack Brazel rode his horse a distance away to check on his farm animals after a fierce storm from the night before. Half way down the trail he began to notice unusual pieces of debris scattered over a large area and then caught glimpse of a fresh trench gouged into the ground approximately a hundred feet long. Brazel said he was confused on what occurred, and by the odd looking metal he was seeing. Feeling anxious all of a sudden, he picked up a few pieces to take back with him and didn’t check out the rest of the scene. On his return he showed his neighbors the pieces of foil-like metal; they were as clueless as he was.
The following day, Brazel drove to Roswell and reported the incident. The report was forwarded to Major Jesse Marcel, an intelligence officer stationed at the local Army Air Field. The debris site was immediately closed off and a heap of military trucks drove in for several days while the wreckage was cleared. Military personnel would not allow anyone other than government officials on the site nor give out information.
According to Marcel, the debris field was close to half a mile long and a few hundred feet wide. The strange metal parts intrigued him. They were weightless. He felt the need to see if it would burn. He held a cigarette lighter to one piece, lit it, and it wouldn’t burn or even heat up. As well as the metal debris there was what he described as an “I” beam that was three-eights inch by one quarter inch that would neither bend nor break, and had indecipherable symbols on it. Quoted by Marcel, ‘I didn’t know what we were picking up. I still don’t know what it was. It was clearly not part of an aircraft that we know of and not part of any weather balloon. I’ve seen rockets. It wasn’t a rocket.’
About the same time, Glenn Dennis, a mortician working in Roswell, at Ballard Funeral Home, received an interesting call from the RAAF morgue. The base’s mortuary officer was trying to obtain four small sealed coffins. The officer also asked Dennis if he knew how to preserve bodies that had been exposed to outside elements for a few days. He felt the phone call to be out of the norm but moved on to deliver the small coffins to the military hospital. On his drive there he wondered if a few kids had somehow been killed.
Glenn Dennis was a regular visitor at the hospital and usually recognized everyone there, but not on this day. On top, there were more soldiers on duty. As he tried entering he was stopped and told to unload the coffins then leave. Dennis claims it was one of the strangest days he’d had and wanted to know what had happened, so the next day, he called a friend who worked at the hospital as a nurse. He made contact with her and she said she’d meet him later for lunch. Per Dennis, he knew something was wrong as soon as he saw her. She seemed distant and nervous. She told him upfront she couldn’t say much, she was now under orders, but she said she saw bodies discovered from a wreck and they were not humans.
On July 8th, The Roswell Daily Record published a front page article with the headline ‘RAAF Captures Flying Saucer on Ranch in Roswell Region’ and the two radio stations received a press release by the Associates Press. The wire went as follows: ‘The Army Air Forces here today announced a flying disk had been found in Roswell.’ The news was running rampant about the evidence.
In a matter of hours after all the news reports, Major Charles A. Cashon came onto the scene with a weather balloon as evidence in hand, spread it out on the floor and told Marcel to hold it up for a photo, which is the now-famous picture of Marcel with the weather balloon. According to Brig. General Thomas DuBose, this was the new story to give to the public and that was it. Later that evening, the original press releases were rescinded and an officer from the base retrieved all previous story copies; newspapers and radio wires. The next day, a second release was issued stating that the 509th Bomb Group had mistakenly identified a weather balloon as wreckage of a flying saucer. This was all happening while the wreckage was being crated and shipped to Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Dayton, Ohio, along with four bodies.
For decades, the Roswell incident was kept sealed but, like a bad penny, the case kept turning up. People involved couldn’t keep silent forever and you’d hear their testimonies. In the late 1990’s, the account hit the main media outlets again with witnesses sharing their experiences among physicists and researchers proving other sightings; they were not weather balloons at all. The evidence was more flying disks. Furthermore, a retired Air Force Lieutenant came out of the shadows when he was able to and exposed his position on the event.
Air Force Lt. Col. Richard French has an incredible history; he joined the Oregon National Guard shortly after his 17th birthday. He then gained his commission in the U.S. Air Force, where he went on to become a fighter aircraft pilot. He served in Korea, Vietnam, Laos and the Cuban Missile Crisis. He held numerous college degrees, including a PhD in astrophysics and another in philosophy. He had been awarded many decorations; the Silver Star, Distinguished Flying Cross, the Air Medal and two Purple Hearts. He served as commander at Nellis Air Force Base and Luke Air force Base.
In 2013, Lt. Col Richard French gave an exclusive interview and declared there were actually two crashes. As reported by French, one ufo was shot down by our Air Force. The shot, what was effectively an electronic pulse-type, and disabled it. That’s why it crashed. The second one crashed from an unknown reason. French recited, ‘I’m one of the authors of Project Blue Book and Special Investigations. One of the duties I had was to debunk UFO events. In other words, if someone had a sighting, I and another agent would try to come up with some logical explanation for the aerial appearance. We’d give our analysis and tried to debunk it by saying it was swamp fog or that the thing was actually hanging on wires, or whatever. These orders came through channels all the way to the presidential level. You couldn’t question them. They told us if there were creatures coming to our planet that we could not explain, it basically would destroy religions, and the fact that our military’s helpless against them would destroy the reputation of the military, you’re talking about our national defense. The cover up is still going on today. There’s no question about it.’
UFO’S AT THE WHITE HOUSE
July 19, 1952, at 11:40 PM, Air Traffic Control at Washington National Airport in Washington D.C.
Ed Nugent, the Air Traffic Controller on duty observed seven blips on his radar screen and knew that no aircraft were in the area. Nugent immediately called Harry Barnes, Supervisor of Air Control to review what their radar was picking up. Barnes called upon Control Tower and confirmed the tower was also receiving the signals, as well as Andrews Air Force Base. Five Air Traffic Controllers watched closely as two of the blips hovered over the White House.
During this period, airline captain, S.C. Pierman was sitting on the tarmac in the cockpit of his DC-4 at National Airport and saw six wingless objects flying that he could not identify. He reported the account to Harry Barnes, who was already aware of the situation. The unknown crafts disappeared and reappeared until 5:30 AM. There ended up being 200+ witnesses to the event and three civilians captured the event with their camera.
The next day, the Washington Post released an article titled, ‘Saucer Outruns Jet, Pilot Reveals. The UFO hovered 1,700 feet above the White House lawn.’ The government nor military have not released information to this day, nor denied the incident.
December 26, 1980, Air Force Bases Woodbridge and Bentwaters, Suffolk, England. U.S. personnel, John Burroughs, Jim Penniston and Sgt. Adrian Bustinza witnessed Britain’s most famous encounter up close and personal.
Reports of strange lights over Rendlesham Forest started buzzing into the base early that morning. Burroughs, Penniston and Bustinza were ordered to do a ground search of the area. They saw lights of blue, red, orange and white as soon as they arrived but could not tell where or what the lights were coming from. They walked through the forest a ways, got to a fence, climbed over, then were in an opening. Approximately 200 yards away they spotted an opaque black craft, covered in hieroglyphic characters. It illuminated the entire pine forest with a white light, a red pulsing light on top and blue moving lights on the bottom. They estimated it to be three meters tall and three meters wide at the base. No landing gear could be seen. They walked up to it; it was smooth, like black glass. Within several minutes the craft made a vibrating noise, rose up, tilted and took off into the sky so fast that it was completely out of sight within two seconds.
Later, when daylight came to, indentations could be seen on the forest floor accompanied by damage to the trees. High levels of radiation was also present.
Quoted by Sgt. James Penniston, in 2005, ‘What I once believed is no more, and what I’ve witnessed, defies all that I have ever imagined. I am truly in awe over the whole incident, and no one can fully understand the magnitude of such an event unless you were there.’
ZIMBABWE SCHOOL ENCOUNTER
On the morning of September 16, 1994, sixty-two children at the Ariel School in Ruwa, ran into their school house screaming. They alerted their teachers they had just seen a large round object land from the sky near the playground and several children saw two small creatures. The teacher’s were confounded because each student wore panic.
The reports taken from the students as a whole were truly similar, and the consensus was that a round silver object did land about 100 meters from the edge of the school field where the children stood. Many of the pupils stopped what they were doing from curiosity and watched what landed. One young girl remarked, ‘I felt scared because I’ve never seen such a person like that.” Another student claimed, ‘They were kind of, just looking at us. They were kind of astonished at what we were.’
The small creatures were described of having large oval-shaped eyes wearing tight shiny black clothing.
A few days after the events, a BBC reporter visited the school to document the case. The students were interviewed regarding their personal experiences by Harvard Professor of Psychiatry, John Mack. Mack had the children draw pictures of what they saw. The drawings produced approximately 40 pictures, all of them strikingly the same in content and appearance; containing a saucer type craft, trees and small child-sized men with large oval black eyes.
After having interviewed all of the students, Mack reached the conclusion that the children exhibited no signs of behavioral problems and ruled out the possibility that their descriptions were the result of a mass delusion. According to Mack, ‘They experienced a very powerful encounter and they’re left with the rather disturbing fact that this seems to be what it is. And it seems to have no other psychiatric explanation.’
Twenty years later, the former students stand by their same story. Can we not state that visual observation from many witnesses is evidence?
THE PHOENIX LIGHTS
March 13, 1997, something incredible happened over Phoenix Arizona, which is now titled the Phoenix Lights. It was witnessed by thousands of people, caught on camera and has been made available to everyone around the globe, thanks to the Internet. Are not the numerous videos and pictures evidence?
Luke Air Force Base, the media outlets, the National UFO Reporting Center, the Governor’s office and the police station began receiving nonstop reports of something extremely large, the size of a football field, moving slowly in the sky. Some people reported it as a gigantic boomerang with lights underneath it. Three different witnesses from three different areas caught the account on video.
Arizona’s Governor, Fife Symington, was not able to be candid until his term ended. In 2007, he came forward and told the public he too had witnessed the phenomena. He described it as a craft of unknown origin. He’s quoted in the Daily Courier saying, ‘I’m a pilot and know just about every machine that flies. That one was bigger than anything that I’ve ever seen. Other people saw it, responsible people. I don’t know why people would ridicule it. It was enormous. Who knows where it came from. It was dramatic; inexplicable. Geometric outline, a constant shape. It wasn’t from here.’
Symington also noted that he requested information from Luke Air Force Base, the National Guard and the head of the Arizona Department of Safety, but none of the officials had an answer for what had happened, and they were as perplexed as everyone else. Such determinations can be noted as further evidence, indeed?
ASTRONAUTS SPEAKING OUT
Major Gordon Cooper, one of the last astronauts to fly in space, witnessed a UFO. Per Cooper, ‘For many years I lived with a secret. I can now reveal it. Most astronauts are reluctant to discuss the subject. Authorities are afraid because of the god, religious effects it would have on millions of people, and because they are so much more advanced than we are. We have to avoid panic. But the truth is, they’re here.’
Astronaut Donald Slayton saw a UFO in 1951. Donald said he tracked it for a little ways, then it turned a 45 degree angle and flat disappeared. ‘It accelerated so fast, it flat out disappeared.’
Major Robert White witnessed a forty foot, gray disc while flying his X-15. He was only thirty feet away from it.
NASA Pilot Joseph Walker filmed six metallic gray UFO’s during a flight in 1962. As quoted by Walker, ‘The military took the reel and it’s never been seen by the public.’
Other astronauts that have come forward are: Neil Armstrong, Buzz Aldrin, Eugene Cernan, Ed White, James McDivitt, James Lovell, Frank Borman, Maurice Chatelain, Scott Carpenter and Edgar Mitchell. Certainly, such professionals’ observations are evidence, as well?
Billionaire entrepreneur, Robert Bigelow, who is currently working with NASA, was quoted on CBS’s 60 Minutes, in May of 2017, saying he was ‘absolutely convinced’ that aliens exist and are currently here. To him, the evidence is overwhelming.
According to Bigelow, ‘There has been and is an existing presence, an ET presence. I spent millions and millions… I probably spent more as an individual than anybody else in the United State has ever spent on this subject.’ When Bigelow was asked whether he worried about what people thought, he simply replied, ‘I don’t give a damn. It doesn’t matter what other people think because it doesn’t change the facts. They’re already here. They’re right under your noses.’
SO, IF THEY’RE HERE – WHERE ARE THEY?
Scientist suggest, they look a lot like us. If that’s true, then maybe that’s what Robert Bigelow means when he announced, ‘They’re right under your noses.’
The problem with imagining a life form on a different planet is that unfortunately we’ve only got one example to go by – our own. So, we tend to imagine something unworldly like the grey humanoid or insect-like creature, but there’s no guarantee that would be accurate. Instead, studies of evolutionary theory finds that it would be subject to the same processes and mechanisms that helped bring us about – leading to the conclusion they might actually look a lot like us. At least, some of them. That means it’s possible they are among us. That’s a hard fact to sink in. Where is more evidence? According to rumors that have circled around for the last decade or two, these beings that look much like we do have been working along with our highest government officials. Try to digest that.

Stripe cloud formation crossed the earth from the north to south polar regions over a three-day period of time. It was noticed on Google Earth, hence the featured image from MrBB333 who created a YouTube video after being contacted from a witness who sent him four videos depicting the defined cloud-line phenomena.
Universal Digest was alerted from a friend and contributor, Terri Wong, who posted in the California Digest Facebook group. I sent a response to MrBB333 because of the objective views he took to build evidence that this ‘fixed’ climatic event occurred over a three-day period with witnesses involved (Please see the YouTube responses). I have since contacted a friend and fellow researcher, Dennis, in the Netherlands. He corroborates the other witnesses claims of what he called a ‘weird’ phenomena in the sky that lasted for the day. Further, some responses to the YouTube video stated they, too, observed the strange strip cloud overhead that stretched from one horizon north to the horizon south, as well. One response from a witness claimed to live in southern California, USA.
As MrBB333 claimed, Google Earth claims this was just a processing glitch. I have seen similar glitches in the past while viewing Google Maps and Google Earth; however, it has not been anything quite like this.
Here is the YouTube video. Again, I consider this to be a fair and objective determination that this stripe cloud formation was certainly fixed and not affected from other cloud formations above and below this phenomena. Please view the evidence produced illustrating the stripe cloud being viewed from the International Space Station, as well as, being viewed from the ground.
UFO Sightings Hotspot wrote an article on this observations. Click their link here to view their input and what the Netherlands witness had stated. For public information, I have copied the responses in a caption below.
The witness who submitted the footage to MrMB333 writes:
“Just to share a really strange cloud line in the sky above the Netherlands I’ve spotted on February 20, 2018.”
“Some strange straight lined cloud formation, quite wide and reaching beyond the vanishing point of my eyes.”
“The cloud line seems to be of a different kind of cloud material then the other clouds around and behind it.”
To reiterate, Dennis, who also lives in the Netherlands reported to me pretty much the same detail of the event. He didn’t take any videos or pictures, but does validate it is what he saw, too.
As the saying goes: Sometimes facts are stranger than fiction.

PS: After publishing this article, some continued interaction occurred with some physics friends. I propose this theory due to recent climatic changes in California. What if the polar-to-polar stripe cloud that crossed the earth for three days (February 19-22) was of technical origination? I contend the human mind is almost limitless in what it can imagine, conceive, and create. Whether we got help from those from ‘other’ places or not, this seems to be a benevolent situation. California is now receiving (from a reported-almost stagnant weather front) rain and cooler weather that is due to last the entire week. It is just a theory. Anyone who cares to comment below are most welcome to do so.
This is a Visalia UFO update regarding events occurring in Visalia, California in 2015. In short, after much research these cases remain unsolved and will be moved to the Universal Digest “UFO Phenomena – Unsolved” category until more evidence can be produced.
Beginning with the case from February 25, 2015, with article posting photos taken by Debbie Mancini with one witness, please click on the article link below:
[Tweet “Visalia, California, has had UFO sightings with numerous witnesses in 2015.”]
To date, a total of 10 witnesses have made contact, yet four were unable to produce unedited evidence of the sightings so their stories are not included in this article. What is notable is their observations matched what is reported in the above encounters. Please note, as well, that the photographic evidence reported by the above witnesses has passed photo forensics.
Then, there was this discovery! While Terry Wood was reviewing his smart phone, which was new at the time of the encounters, he noticed he had taken a nine-second video of the UFO before it darted away at incredible speed. Video forensics is still underway from outside sources, yet this author does not want more time to pass without publishing this updated article.
The following is the unedited nine-second video of the object in the distance. Please feel free to scrutinize the video and contact us at Universal Digest. The comment area at the end of this article is available or one may wish to use our private “Contact Us” page to make a report:
Since 2014, there have been numerous sightings of UFOs in central California from Kern, Tulare, and Fresno counties. Some, as have been written in past articles by Universal Digest are to date, still unsolved. Anyone with any further, detailed evidence are welcome to contact us. Just this past week, a report was received here from a prominent UFO researcher and spotter of many years that he and two other witnesses encountered an unexpected sighting in a clear, night sky. Their determination: UFO…
Thank you for reading and viewing this update. Please feel free to cast you vote on the poll provided below:
PS: Within two hours of this publication, four new reports have been received, including one more from Debbie Mancini. One came in from Fresno county, recently. Two weeks ago, from a report above Debbie and a witness had two sightings, inclusive of the last being seen on the way to Hanford, CA in Kings County. This author thought he was seeing things over the back yard area two weeks ago, as well. All those making comment are encouraged to contact the author. Thank you.
